2007 Wine Label Contest Winner Announced
 Marisa Karolek from Aurora submitted a Computer Illustration of the Memorial Bridge Statue “Memory” on New York Street in Aurora. The New York Street Memorial Bridge was dedicated to World War I Veterans on Armistice Day, November 11th, 1931.
Emory Seidel planned and designed the bridge and the statues in the Art Modern Style. As an artist Marisa instantly knew that she wanted to pay homage to Emory Seidel’s beautiful sculptures as soon as she heard about the Fox Valley Winery Label Contest. Marisa told Fox Valley Winery, “I encourage all to take a short walk through town to see the full collection of artwork Mr. Seidel has left to the people of Aurora and the Fox Valley.” She added, “Next time you cross the bridge on New York St. in Aurora look left or right. 'Memory' will still be kneeling there in all of her beauty, watching another sunrise or sunset over our Great Fox Valley”
